The National Commercial Bank adopts a comprehensive vision of social responsibility, grounded in a strong conviction regarding the crucial role of the private sector in supporting sustainable development within local communities. In line with this commitment, the Bank actively contributes to human, economic, and social development in Libya through a range of purposeful and diverse programs and initiatives.
As part of its efforts to empower youth and enhance their professional skills, and under the sponsorship and supervision of JobEzz Foundation, the Bank supported a vocational camp that trained and qualified over 1,000 job seekers in the cities of Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar. The training program covered a wide variety of in-demand skills and professions, including heavy machinery operation, home and automotive electrical work, plumbing, mobile phone maintenance, hairdressing, graphic design, and numerous other trades.
Additionally, the Bank launched “Himmat Watan” donation campaign via its Mobi Mal app to provide relief to those affected by Storm Daniel. In parallel, the Bank reopened its new branch in Derna, continuing its efforts to support the return of economic activity and banking services to the city.
The Bank places particular emphasis on supporting sports in Libya, recognizing its role in promoting community health and fostering a strong, capable generation. This commitment is reflected in its support for sports initiatives that encourage youth participation and promote a culture of physical activity as an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.
